This the first original composition that I did during my
training in the miniature program in college, after learning various
technical aspects by making copies of old miniatures. The first assignment
for the students was to come up with an original composition, after a trip to
the Lahore fort. I view myself as a Mughal princess holding a parrot in the
painting, with a spectacular view of the Badshahi mosque in the background. |
