This was the second painting I
did after my move to Boston, and by now, I am over my initial fascination
with the novelty objects around me and look inwards. The painting echoes a
sense of reaching out towards something- my extremities evolve into contorted
roots and vines. My hair flows out to form the clouds of night and day, while
my hands hold onto and cherish the Sunflower and the Rose. |
